Snobbery doesn’t pay


In October 2005, I was in Paris. I’d never been to the top of the Eiffel Tower because on previous visits, I was too much of a snob to do the typical tourist thing. Fortunately, I’d grown up by last time. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have seen this spectacular view.
